The Mullis Family Circus

Welcome to our blog! I have started referring to our family as a constant three ring circus. With four children, separated by six years, two dogs, a husband who works A LOT, and a mom who never has time to finish anything and always has multiple things going at the same time, it's amazing this blog ever gets updated at all!! However, I do try to keep it as updated as possible because I LOVE to look at it to see what we were doing in the past, and I like having a place that all of our friends and family can reference to keep up with us. Bookmark us and check back to see what we're up to. With this crew, it is always something! (Please excuse typos! One day I'm going to go back and fix them! I'm always in such a hurry to post that I usually don't proofread. The English major in me dies every time I go through and see all of the typos, but the busy mom in me says, "I'll fix it when I have time!" So, look for corrections in , let's say, 20 years or so!!!)

We got a picture all together!

Corbin's 30th birthday was yesterday. He left for work about 5:30 a.m. and got home around 7:00 p.m. We had his requested pork chops, peas, mashed potatoes, and bran muffins for supper. He had a coconut custard pie for his cake! We got him some head pieces for the phones to hopefully make his endless hours of dictations better. His parents sent a fruit basket. Nanny and Pa sent a card. He received a pair of Rainbow flip flops, a new pair of Crocs, and a hunting hat with a light from my parents. While none of us were sure if he'd like the hat or not, it was actually his favorite gift, behind the Crocs. He has just about worn out his other pair, and this is the kind with the holes just around the bottom, which is exactly what he had wanted! Levi was enamored with the balloons and the boxes. He spent the birthday under the table playing!! Corbin was glad to hear from all of you who called.

    Corbin,looks like you had a fun birthday. Sorry Levi did not get his balloon. I will call the florist on Mon. Ellie Ruth looks so happy in her pics. does she always smile so much? Love, Mama
