The Mullis Family Circus

Welcome to our blog! I have started referring to our family as a constant three ring circus. With four children, separated by six years, two dogs, a husband who works A LOT, and a mom who never has time to finish anything and always has multiple things going at the same time, it's amazing this blog ever gets updated at all!! However, I do try to keep it as updated as possible because I LOVE to look at it to see what we were doing in the past, and I like having a place that all of our friends and family can reference to keep up with us. Bookmark us and check back to see what we're up to. With this crew, it is always something! (Please excuse typos! One day I'm going to go back and fix them! I'm always in such a hurry to post that I usually don't proofread. The English major in me dies every time I go through and see all of the typos, but the busy mom in me says, "I'll fix it when I have time!" So, look for corrections in , let's say, 20 years or so!!!)

Hodge Podge Early 2013

We have had such a fun and busy beginning to 2013.  Here are a few momentous, and some not so momentous, events from the past few months.

Ellie Ruth has been waiting and waiting for it to be here turn to lose a tooth.  She has found it so unfair that Levi's teeth have been falling out, while hers have just been staying put!  It hasn't helped that most of the kids in her class had already lost teeth too.  She was DYING for her turn to have the tooth fairy visit her.  After many days of wiggling and jiggling (and refusing to let Corbin touch it), it fell right out.  She was super happy!!  This is still the only one she's lost, though she's got anothe wiggler that will be out soon.  Ironically, Ellie Ruth lost this tooth, and the very next day, Levi lost another one.  So, the tooth fairy had to visit our house two nights in a row.  I'm sure she would have appreciated it if they had timed their tooth losing a little better!! :)

Here's a picture of Levi and Corbin with all of the trophies he won with Super Dog (his car).

Everybody loves to hold Lorelei, including Gray.  Yes, this was just a couple of weeks ago; don't let the Jack-o-Lantern footie fool you.  We wear what fits around here!!!

The kids are such a big help.  Having them hold Lorelei frees me up to finish getting ready, or, as in the case above, get Gray ready for bed while she eats.  They love it and argue over whose turn it is to feed her.

One of Levi's classmates taught him how to make a ninja hat with a t-shirt.  He and Ellie Ruth transformed themselves.  Ellie Ruth took hers off for the picture, but you can truly get the picture from Levi!!
