Unfortunately, I forgot the still camera, but I DID have the video camera. I got LOTS of good footage! So, sorry, no blog pictures today.
Levi's first tee-ball practice was last night. He actually did way better than we had anticipated. Practice was an hour long, so, of course, after about 30 minutes, all of the four year olds lost interest a bit. But, Levi really listened to his coaches and tried to do what they said. He hit the bat off of the tee pretty well, and he worked on his fielding. He did great running around the bases until he got to third. For some reason, every time he got to third, he wanted to go back to first instead of to home. It was very comical after a while! Also, as you would imagine, all the kids ran after the ball, like football, every time. Levi thought this was extremely fun, and he laughed the whole time as he ran for it-- hilarious. He was one of the only ones who would stand in the field, squatting, with his hands on his knees-- kind of bouncing a little bit-- just as the coach told him. It was so cute. Anyway, it was a success, and we hope he continues to like it.
The Mullis Family Circus
Welcome to our blog! I have started referring to our family as a constant three ring circus. With four children, separated by six years, two dogs, a husband who works A LOT, and a mom who never has time to finish anything and always has multiple things going at the same time, it's amazing this blog ever gets updated at all!! However, I do try to keep it as updated as possible because I LOVE to look at it to see what we were doing in the past, and I like having a place that all of our friends and family can reference to keep up with us. Bookmark us and check back to see what we're up to. With this crew, it is always something! (Please excuse typos! One day I'm going to go back and fix them! I'm always in such a hurry to post that I usually don't proofread. The English major in me dies every time I go through and see all of the typos, but the busy mom in me says, "I'll fix it when I have time!" So, look for corrections in , let's say, 20 years or so!!!)
