The Mullis Family Circus

Welcome to our blog! I have started referring to our family as a constant three ring circus. With four children, separated by six years, two dogs, a husband who works A LOT, and a mom who never has time to finish anything and always has multiple things going at the same time, it's amazing this blog ever gets updated at all!! However, I do try to keep it as updated as possible because I LOVE to look at it to see what we were doing in the past, and I like having a place that all of our friends and family can reference to keep up with us. Bookmark us and check back to see what we're up to. With this crew, it is always something! (Please excuse typos! One day I'm going to go back and fix them! I'm always in such a hurry to post that I usually don't proofread. The English major in me dies every time I go through and see all of the typos, but the busy mom in me says, "I'll fix it when I have time!" So, look for corrections in , let's say, 20 years or so!!!)

Spring Break Trip

Our kids are obsessed with Legos, especially Levi.  When they saw the advertisement for Legoland on the Cheerios box, I knew we were going to have to make the trip.  So, we decided to visit with Uncle Paul, Aunt Liz, Preston, and Kelly and take the 50 minute ride from their house to the old Cypress Gardens, which is now Legoland Florida.  Luckily, Liz kept Lorelei because if we had had to deal with Gray AND her, it might have been unbearable.  Gray was a HANDFUL.  But, the big kids had a great time.  It is a great park for Levi and Ellie Ruth's ages.  I don't have a ton of pictures because, well, Gray was there.  But, I do have some!!

They have several 4d shows, and here the kids are in their glasses-- so stylish!

This was abuilding room.  There were Legos everywhere, and the kids had so much fun building with all of the different blocks.  This one was Hero Factory.

Boating School

Luckily, all of the kids managed to escaped the shark's teeth!

Miniland was really neat.  Gray was tuckered out, so the big kids and I explored that area while Coribn occupied Gray.  (During this time, Gray escaped into an exhibit much like the one behind the kids here to climb into the water!)

Gray finally pulled it together as we were leaving and is dancing here to the music coming out of that green, covered speaker behind him!

The next day we just stayed at Paul and Liz's beautiful home and enjoyed going out on the boat, almost all day!!
Everyone loved the boat ride to and from teh beach (although Gray doesn't look like it here.)  I love Lorelei just sitting in the bottom of the boat!!  Gray stood while we were riding saying, "Ahoy Matey" and "Aargh"!  Hilarious.

Levi and Corbin on the tube.  Each of the big kids rode the tube once with Corbin and once with Preston.  They loved it.  Thanks Uncle Paul for taking us out and to Kelly and Preston for playing with us all afternoon.

Preston caught some pretty big fish!!

We had so much fun.  Thanks to the Puryears for having our traveling circus visit!

Poor Addie-- Gray is such a menace!
