First, Corbin's paternal grandfather, Leghmon Mullis, passed away on October 17th at 90 years old.
He led a long and eventful life, and I don't think anyone who met him could forget him!
On a lighter note...
Congratulations to Mark and Jessica (Corbin's sister) on the birth of their daughter Nora Grace Lamb. She was born on October 8th. They had not found out what they were having, and Madelyn was set on having a sister. So, we're glad her wish came true! (We hope Jaxson is as excited!) She is a beautiful baby and will be a wonderful addition to the family. Lorelei will have a playmate!
On that note, I am going to make a quick observation about our families, which is so funny to me. With the exception of the oldest grandchild on the Mullis side, Morgan, every grandchild has a cousin of the same basic age and of the same sex. We've had two boys within ten days of each other, two girls (they're 15 months apart), two more boys with only two months between them, and two more girls with six months between them. On the Haley side, it's the same. We had two boys within eight months of each other, then two girls within five months, and then the two boys, who are farther apart at 20 months apart. Now, Lorelei is the lone girl at the end, so, hopefully, Timothy and Hannah's first will be a girl to keep the cycle going!!
The Mullis Family Circus
Welcome to our blog! I have started referring to our family as a constant three ring circus. With four children, separated by six years, two dogs, a husband who works A LOT, and a mom who never has time to finish anything and always has multiple things going at the same time, it's amazing this blog ever gets updated at all!! However, I do try to keep it as updated as possible because I LOVE to look at it to see what we were doing in the past, and I like having a place that all of our friends and family can reference to keep up with us. Bookmark us and check back to see what we're up to. With this crew, it is always something! (Please excuse typos! One day I'm going to go back and fix them! I'm always in such a hurry to post that I usually don't proofread. The English major in me dies every time I go through and see all of the typos, but the busy mom in me says, "I'll fix it when I have time!" So, look for corrections in , let's say, 20 years or so!!!)
