The Mullis Family Circus

Welcome to our blog! I have started referring to our family as a constant three ring circus. With four children, separated by six years, two dogs, a husband who works A LOT, and a mom who never has time to finish anything and always has multiple things going at the same time, it's amazing this blog ever gets updated at all!! However, I do try to keep it as updated as possible because I LOVE to look at it to see what we were doing in the past, and I like having a place that all of our friends and family can reference to keep up with us. Bookmark us and check back to see what we're up to. With this crew, it is always something! (Please excuse typos! One day I'm going to go back and fix them! I'm always in such a hurry to post that I usually don't proofread. The English major in me dies every time I go through and see all of the typos, but the busy mom in me says, "I'll fix it when I have time!" So, look for corrections in , let's say, 20 years or so!!!)

O.k. I know it's been a LONG time, but so much has been going on. We hope you'll understand! We spent the month of June finishing up everything in Mississippi and packing (if you've never done that with a two year old and a one year old, judge not!!!) Then, we spent July getting things half way settled. Again, if you've never done that with a.... you get the picture).

Now, it's August, and Corbin's first day was Friday. It went o.k. Although, he spent almost all of the day Saturday and a long time today at the office, and he's not on call!!!

I hope to post some pictures of our house soon. We really love it. We enjoy being in the woods so much. It is so peaceful. Yet it's nice that we're not far from town. It really is the perfect set up.

The kids have adjusted well. They enjoy all of the playing room. Levi has transferred to his firetruck bed marvelously. Getting rid of the pacifier has been a bit more trying, but we're getting there!!

Ellie Ruth is as pleasant as can be. She's making up for her trying beginning. She sleeps great and plays like crazy.

Corbin enjoyed his month off. We spent a few wonderful days in the Bahamas. He also took a fishing trip with his dad and brothers.

We are so glad to be back near friends and family, but we do miss all of our old friends. We hope you are all doing well!

I'll post some more pictures soon!
