We have avoided getting sick of late, but I'm sure we'll catch something soon enough! Rita and Wesley have both had a bad bug that he apparently got back from Taiwan with. So, we're glad to hear that they are doing better! (Since Wesley is now in Australia, we assume he's feeling fine!)
We've begun our initial preparations for our return to Georgia. Corbin has been working on getting his Georgia license and credentials. We've also been talking to a realtor and narrowing down house prospects online-- exciting and overwhelming!
Ellie Ruth slept through the night the last couple of nights in her own bed. We're sure it won't last, but we're going to stay positive and hope it continues!
Levi is talking more and more every day still. He loves to ride on his jeep outside and play with his tee ball set.
We're expecting more bad weather tonight. So, we may end up in the bathtub again. This time Corbin should be home, though!
Here are some recent pictures of the kids.
Levi decided he'd rather eat his yogurt (aka Yuck) with the wrong end of his spoon. Amazingly, her ate the whole thing like that without spilling a drop. (Ironically, he ate it the right way the next day and got yogurt ALL over his shirt!)
Levi is showing Ellie Ruth how the toys work. He really is sweet to her!
Ellie Ruth is on the go. She rolls all over the place and really thinks she's something doing it!
This is the new nose scrunch thng she likes to do at you when she's happy. I don't know why she does it, but she does!
Ellie Ruth was glad to see the Giants win during her first Super Bowl experience. We know there are those of you out there who were rooting for a perfect Patriot season. But, how could we root against our Mississippian, Eli?
Levi loves on Ellie Ruth! She's a real trooper about it.
We went to the Schweinfurths for the Super Bowl. (He's one of the attendings Corbin works with.) In order to keep Levi out of the expensive movie room paraphernalia, we took Levi's portable dvd player to keep him occupied. He never paid much attention to the wall-sized football game being broadcast or the loud cheers. He was so good and watched his sign language and Spanish videos while the adults enjoyed themselves! We were so happy that we didn't have to fuss at him or leave early! It entertained Addison too!
These were the cheese danish tartlets I made for the party. I had to share because they were soooo pretty!
Hello-
ReplyDeleteThe tartlets look wonderful, I would love the recipe. Tell everyone I said "Hi"! Can't wait until yall are back in Georgia.
